Alicia Harvey Exclusive Release of Her Single “Out of the Blue” Ahead of Self-Titled EP

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Today, Friday, February 2nd, Alicia Harvey Singer/Songwriter/Musician released her single “Out of the Blue,” ahead of her highly anticipated self-titled EP available everywhere on February 23rd.

You can hear a classic 90’s country twang and an authentic grit in her voice. Raised in the honky-tonk that her grandmother owned in Nashville, the song “Gun Totin’ Granny” was inspired by Alicia’s grandmother and based on true stories.

Now based in Knoxville, Alicia was raised in Nashville with influences like Patty Loveless, Terri Clark, Sara Evans, and Ashley McBryde.She is a part of the annual Tennessee Songwriter’s Week and was named a semi-finalist in Wild Wing Knoxville’s Voice Off Competition, and a finalist in the 2019 Acoustic Throwdown Competition in Knoxville.She joins Living East Tennessee to talk about the meaning behind the EP and what inspired her to start performing and writing.
